With the exception of a Nintendo 3DS family system and wired headphones, electronic devices—such as cell phones, MP3 players, or text-messaging devices—are not to be used during a match. In some special instances, an electronic device may be allowed with the advance permission of the event staff.
If you have a question about using a certain electronic device during your match, please consult with the league or tournament organizer before using the device. Penalties or disqualifications may be incurred if you are caught using an electronic device without proper permissions.
